Our first match was at 9 AM against Cove a very even match with good play from both teams which ended in a 1-1 draw. At the end of the group stages we were unbeaten and getting better with each game we played. Now we are in new territory as we have never been passed the group stages in any tournament before. In the Quarter Final we played Sherbourne Lions after a very close match we won 1-0.

Next came the Semi Final against Rushmoor who play two divisions above us in the league, after an even start Rushmoor took the lead after 5 minuets, then just before half time the cardinals equalised after some great teamwork. After the break the cardinals took the lead. then defended brilliantly to take their place in the final.

Unfortunately in the final the boys were just too tired after an early start and lots of football, we lost 3-0 to a very good side. what a fantastic achievement to get to the final and take home a trophy.
